When Claremont Colleges won the 2022 College Rugby Association of America (CRAA) Women's Division II Spring 15s Championship, that title run capped a pretty incredible turn of events. The Foxes thought they had been eliminated from the post-season when a last-minute opportunity presented itself, and the SoCal team pounced. The effort was worth the anxiety and logistical crunch, as Claremont not only won the title but also claimed a redemptive win against San Diego State University (SDSU) in the process.
