4.15.25 Updates (*) USA Club Rugby has sorted its seeding, match-ups and kickoff times for the impending Super Regional Championships (SRCs). The Pacific (Henderson, Nev.), Atlantic (Newport, R.I.), Gulf Coast (Mandeville, La.) and Northern (Springfield, Mo.) SRCs are the equivalent of national Round of 16/8 games and thus will produce the national semifinalists for the May 16-18 championship event in Indianapolis.
The following focuses on the women’s DI, DII and DIII competitions and will update after this Saturday, when the SRCs finalize. Will also update with streaming info or kickoff times if necessary.

PACIFIC SRC
The Pacific is the first of the four SRCs to occur on April 25-27, freeing up teams for the LA 7s should they want to attend on May 3-4. It’s also the only SRC to feature a proper four-team bracket for women’s Division I – i.e., champions from four different leagues. Three of the four (see update below) DI competitors are already known, and SoCal is holding its final in Los Alamitos, Calif., on Saturday, April 12. The SRC games occur at the Silver Bowl complex in Henderson, just outside of Las Vegas.
While DI plays a Friday/Sunday schedule, the women’s Division II goes Saturday/Sunday. Only the Portland Pigs out of the Northwest have secured their spot at the SRCs, but this Saturday’s finals in the Southwest and SoCal, and the final round of league play in NorCal will fill in the bracket.

ATLANTIC SRC
Atlantic is unique in that three women’s divisions – I, II and III – are represented at the SRC. Division III unfortunately does not have a national championship pathway, so those teams will end their seasons in Newport, R.I. All four DI teams will come out of the DI Atlantic league, and their seeds won’t be finalized until the final round of regular-season play this Saturday. DII has known two of its title contenders since the fall, and the other two will be named via league finals on Saturday.

GULF COAST SRC
The Gulf Coast SRC features a women’s Division II competition, and it’s also the home to the reigning DII national champion, Tampa Bay. The Krewe play Fort Miami this Saturday for the Florida title and berth to SRCs. Carolinas and Texas are also naming their champs Saturday, and Knoxville booked its spot to Mandeville, La., after a rainy True South championship.
Last year, there was a DI playoff match between the Texas and Rocky Mountain champs, but the latter aligned with the Pacific SRC this year to fill out that bracket. So that means the Texas champ – TBD this Saturday between Dallas Harlequins and Houston (sHARC) – heads directly to the DI national semifinals.

NORTHERN SRC
The Northern SRC features a women’s DII competition only, but remember that the DI Midwest competition doubles as the Northern SRC (similar to the DI Atlantic). In DII, the Midwest, given its size and competition level, gets two seeds, and they were determined in the fall. They also are the top-two ranked teams in the bracket: #1 Grand Rapids and #2 Rochester.
Rocky Mountain’s Boulder returns to the SRC for a second-straight year, having gone undefeated in league. And Mid-America will be the final league to name its champion, holding a two-day playoff series in Springfield, Mo.
