Washington, D.C (April 26, 2022) – USA Youth & High School Rugby (USA Y&HSR) and The Rugby Network (TRN) announced today that TRN has become the exclusive, official streaming partner for all youth and high school rugby in the United States. The partnership, which is the first of its kind for youth rugby in the country, will see State
Youth Rugby Organizations (SYRO) championship games, sanctioned tournaments, and games of the week streamed free, live and on demand on The Rugby Network.
“Streaming of youth rugby is a unique opportunity for the organization, the SYRO’s and the entire playing community to benefit greatly from” said David Pool, President of USA Youth and High School Rugby. “The partnership will elevate the status of the youth game in the United States and provide players and programs with the exposure it deserves.”
The Rugby Network, sees the partnership as a natural fit and builds on its’ mission of providing coverage of all things rugby from across the globe. Having already established itself as the streaming and digital content network for Major League Rugby (MLR), a professional sports league in its fifth season that represents the highest level of rugby competition in North America, bringing youth and high school games onto the network signifies the continued growth of rugby in the United States and provides fans with a single platform to access all rugby from youth to professional.
