Women’s Elite Rugby will hold its national championship, aka, Legacy Cup, on Sunday, June 29 at TCO Stadium in Eagan, Minn. The arena is home to the Twin Cities (TC) Gemini, one of six WER teams competing in the inaugural 2025 season. The stadium, located at 2685 Vikings Circle, is attached to the Minnesota Vikings’ headquarters and training facility.
“We are proud to bring Women’s Elite Rugby to the heart of the Midwest where the passion for the sport runs deep,” said Dr. Jessica Hammond-Graf, WER President. “The 2025 Legacy Cup will be a celebration of how far the league has come in our inaugural season and a powerful platform for the growth of the game.”
The Legacy Cup is a one-game affair between the top-two teams in the standings, which will be finalized at the conclusion of the regular season on June 14. The title contenders then have two weeks to ready for the finale in Minnesota. The kickoff time, adjacent events or curtain-raisers are TBA.

At the time of print, the league has surpassed the midway point of the regular season, and the Denver Onyx (5-0) are pointing toward the final. The race for runner-up has already been fun.
