Wisconsin Rugby Sports Complex Hosts Club 7s Nationals

Sevens squads from clubs across the country will be qualifying through Regional Pathways, bringing 16 men’s and women’s teams to Madison for the championship weekend. Hosted by Madison United Rugby, the 2023 USA Club 7s National Championships will be streamed live, on USA Club Rugby YouTube, while member clubs will also be able to live stream individual games on their own social media platforms.

USA Rugby CEO, Ross Young said on this year’s championships, “Year in year out, Club 7s Nationals have been an absolute experience, with the opportunity to compete against the best at the senior club level. Many of our Men’s and Women’s Eagles have come up through the club championship pathway, stepping onto the scene during this all-important weekend.”

Qualifying for championship weekend in 2023 sees a method by Regional Pathways. The coast-to-coast competition is divided into four regions:

West – Southern California, Northern California, Pacific Northwest & Frontier

Central – Red River & Midwest

Northeast -Northeast & Mid Atlantic

South – Carolinas, Florida, Georgia & True South

At the time of print, the Mid-Atlantic’s Scion (D.C.), Pacific Northwest’s Washington Athletic Club, and Red River’s HEB Hurricanes (Texas) have qualified for the women’s competition.
