After Week 8 of the Women’s Premier League, three teams have clinched berths to the national championship semifinals on Nov. 1 in Glendale, Colo. Finals day is Nov. 3.
Life West (31 pts.) and Glendale (24 pts.) will take the West Conference’s seeds. Berkeley has one more league game and trails the Merlins by six standings points. San Diego has two games left but can only finish with 21 points total.
Atlanta has clinched the East Conference top seed but the second berth is very much up for grabs. Twin Cities is in second place at present but only by one and three points over New York and Beantown, respectively, and with only one league game to go. New York and Beantown have two more games remaining this regular season.
