Located a short drive southeast of Nashville, MTSU is a familiar venue for championship rugby events, including the Tennessee High School State Championships, South 15s collegiate championships, numerous large 7s events, and Atavus camps.

Hosted by the MTSU Rugby Alumni Association and MTSU Rugby, the MTSU Sports Complex features three Bermuda grass pitches and a fourth warm-up field.
Tournament host Jody Hensley noted, “We are excited and look forward to hosting an event of this magnitude. We hope to provide the best tournament ever for these young athletes.”
High school club teams compete Friday-Saturday, May 18-19, and single-school teams compete Saturday-Sunday, May 19-20. Organizers are once again planning multiple brackets of competition, with two divisions of single-school competition and two divisions of high school club teams. Developing programs are encouraged to compete against teams they might not normally ever compete against.

“We are excited to bring girls nationals to the South, for the first time in the event’s history,” enthused John Klein, National Girls Coaches Committee (NGCC) Single School Chair. “It sounds like we have the potential to include several girls teams from the South, new competitors, too. Involving new programs each year is one of our goals and reflects just how much the girls game continues to grow.”
Teams apply to participate. Event packets will be available in the near future and interested teams are asked to contact the club or school committee representatives below for applications and eligibility information. Venue questions can be sent directly to the event host.
