2021 Wisconsin HS All-State Team

Every year the Wisconsin Girls Rugby (WGR) league comes together to name an all-state team, which acknowledges outstanding performances across all of its member teams. The 2021 edition includes 17 forwards and 23 backs. There are 14 seniors, 17 juniors, seven sophomores and two freshmen. The following also includes WGR’s annual league awards and contacts for the 10 member teams.

2021 WGR League Awards

Team Sportsmanship Award

To Muskego High School for displaying World Rugby’s values of the game: spirit, passion, solidarity, discipline, and respect over the course of the Fall 2021 conference competition. This season was the first season of rugby for all their players. They displayed positivity and improvement in every match for the revived program, which now has school support. They are the first WGR team to fold only to later restart successfully.
