Last Sunday, Rugby Indiana wrapped on its girls’ high school fall 7s season, and the championship final featured two state titans: Chargers and Carmel. A quality rivalry has formed between these teams and now it amplifies as the trophy swaps owners once again, from Carmel to the Chargers.
The Chargers girls’ high school team was founded in spring 2018 and won the Rugby Indiana 15s championship in its first season. The team remained unbeaten in 7s and 15s finals until fall 2021 . . .
