The Eagle Impact Rugby Academy (EIRA) held its annual winter 15s camp in Casa Grande, Ariz., from Dec. 27-31. After a series of player ID camps around the country, 72 players were invited to the USA Pathways National Development Program assembly.
Twenty-two states were represented in Arizona, with Colorado (14), California (9) and Texas (8) receiving the most invitations. This camp will be instrumental in selecting rosters for touring fixtures in 2024. According to the website, EIRA has 15s plans for Ireland – which would be the 3rd annual trip for the U16 and U18 girls – as well as Spain.
