The Iowa Hawkettes is the high school girls’ state all-star program, and the successful 7s team is a well known entity throughout the Midwest. Fifteens was added to the programming in 2019, but Covid-19 halted that arm’s momentum – until now. On Feb. 5, Hawkettes staff are hosting a 15s tryout in Bondurant, Iowa, and nearly 60 players have signed up to attend.
