The 2023 Girls High School Rugby National Tournament will be held Saturday-Sunday, May 20-21 in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. The Madison United Rugby Club will be the local host for the annual 15s tournament, and games will be played at the Wisconsin Rugby Sports Complex.

The single school championship will host Division I and Division II brackets, and offers the opportunity for J.V. teams to also play exhibition games. Divine Savior Holy Angels (Wis.) is the reigning DI champion and Orchard Park (N.Y.) won the DII trophy last year.

The rugby complex itself (pictured above) is gorgeous, with multiple grass pitches and a brand new, 8,000 sq. ft., two-story clubhouse that overlooks the action. It’s a lovely venue for championship rugby.

Remember that this 15s championship is for single-schools only, while the high school CLUB 15s championship is a totally different event held Friday-Saturday, May 19-20 at Warren Wilson College in North Carolina. Team registration and entry fees are due March 30, 2023. For more information, contact wisconsingirlsrugby@gmail.com.
