Last year, the Midwest Rugby Union tested a DI/DII hybrid competition for women’s senior clubs in the eastern portion of the region, and the league’s success encouraged expansion for 2022-23. The West Conference launched its hybrid competition this fall, and the DII clubs – Milwaukee Scylla and Palmer College – further emphasized the value of this flex league.
