The U.S. Naval Academy began the fall season as the leading contender for the College Rugby Association of America (CRAA) Division I Fall Championship. After all, the Midshipmen were the defending champions and had been elevated to varsity status at the end of the school year. But it wasn't an untouchable season, as it took time to rebuild the connections that graduated with last year's class. It did all come together, just at the right moment - playoffs - and Navy banked a repeat championship at the CRAA . . .
