National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) announced its 2023-24 national championship details in early August, and now there is more detail on the regional playoff destinations for conference champions. Also included is the schedule for the women’s 15s national championships on Dec. 2-3 in Houston. To boot, NCR also announced a new partnership with Veo, so all regional playoff matches on all fields will be streamed with Veo camera technology.
College Check-ins: Division I, Division II & Small College
To recap, there are three NCR women’s 15s divisions: I, II and Small College. All regional playoffs will occur from Friday-Sunday, Nov. 10-12 and in four separate locations. DII and Small College follow the same format: Round of 16/8 on Nov. 11-12, and then semifinals/final on Dec. 2-3 in Houston. DI starts at the quarterfinal stage and will send teams to two of the four regional playoff locations. Friday, Nov. 10 is DI quarterfinals, Saturday is consolation matches, and Sunday, Nov. 12 is semifinals.
REGIONALS BREAKOUT
There are four regional championship sites, and they’ll all host four DII teams and four Small College teams in November. Two sites will also host four DI teams. For DII and Small College, each site will also feature an at-large team per division (Apply for at-large bid.) The following indicates where conference champions and representatives will be contesting their regional playoffs:

The teams that win both of their regional playoff matches advance to the national championship weekend (Dec. 2-3) in Houston, Texas. DII and Small College will hold their respective semifinals inside of AVEVA Stadium, home to the MLR Houston SaberCats, and Sunday’s 3rd place matches will occur on the pitch beside the stadium. All three national finals occur inside the stadium Sunday. All kickoff times are listed in CST.
