Raptor Rights Itself in Time for Tennessee HS Final

The Raptor Rugby girls’ and boys’ high school teams won their respective Tennessee state 15s championships, and did so for the second-straight year. For the girls, the 40-24 title win against Columbia Central was a redemptive victory, salving an early-season loss to the Tigers. However, head coach Josh Crumm explained that the players weren’t seeking revenge but just playing for each other in their final runout of the season.

Crumm picked up the game at the Univ. Tennessee Knoxville, and after graduation he took a teaching position at Central Magnet School in Murfreesboro. The school didn . . .
