The USA Women’s National Team has been holding regional training weekends this month and will continue to do so in March. Pool players may attend more than one center and are not limited by geography; hence the repeat sightings of players in Connecticut, Georgia, Colorado, California, Washington and more.
Last weekend, the Northeast held its assembly at Sacred Heart University, which is home to the Pioneers’ NCAA varsity women’s rugby program. The Fairfield high school team observed training and enjoyed a meet-and-greet with the squad, and are included in the following group photo, courtesy of Cassie Bishop.
