USA South Competes at RAN 12s in Jamaica

[PRESS RELEASE] USA Rugby South is traveling to Kingston, Jamaica to compete in the Rugby Americas North (RAN) 12s senior women’s tournament, a World Rugby-sanctioned event. The tournament occurs July 15-16 at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica.

Based on 2019 results, USA Rugby South is the No. 2 seed behind Jamaica and will compete in Pool B against St. Lucia and the Cayman Islands. Pool A includes Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Trinidad & Tobago.

Chris Martin leads the team as head coach and selected 17 players from senior clubs and colleges. The majority of players are currently living and playing in the South, but everyone has roots in the region. EC Cantrell (Cardiff Met Univ.), Amy Harrell (Lee Univ.), Keki Jordan (Tampa Bay Krewe) and Stacia Thompson (Charlotte) will make their debut for the Panthers.
