USA Rugby Women’s U23 Head Coach Katie Dowty has named the match-day roster for tonight’s Border Battle against the Canada U23s. Twelve of the starting 15 players are returners from the Americas Rugby Trophy tour, including captain Keia Mae Sagapolu and vice captain Kapoina Bailey, who lead from prop and No. 8, respectively. In the reserves, there are another seven returners from Brazil. Sagapolu, Mona Tupou, Freda Tafuna, Taina Tukuafu, Kristin Bitter and Eti Haungatau are the capped Eagles.

Additionally, four players helped the USA U20s beat both Wales and Canada earlier this month in Ottawa: Sereana Vulaono, Reece Woods, Olivia Woods and Tiahna Padilla. This quartet might have been the busiest of the summer in terms of training and playing within the USA Pathway and senior national team. More roster detail.
