NIRA Names ’22-’23 All-Americans

Dartmouth rugby

The National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) named its 2022-23 All-Americans and Honorable Mentions for Division I, Division II and Division III. NIRA is the league for NCAA women’s varsity programs, and all of its 26 members are represented on the following honorary teams:

Division I is led by national champion Dartmouth College, which took eight of the First XV spots, including five of the pack positions. National runner-up Harvard Univ. (3), Quinnipiac Univ. (2), Army West Point and Sacred Heart Univ. are also represented on the first team, while Long Island Univ., Mount St. Mary’s and Princeton have Honorable Mentions.

In Division II, national champion Queens Univ. of Charlotte put seven players on the First XV team. American International College (AIC) has four representatives and Lander University has two. National runner-up Davenport Univ. and West Chester Univ. have one player apiece on the First XV. Alderson Broaddus, Univ. New Haven and NIRA newcomer Newberry College put players on the Honorable Mentions.
