For a third-straight year, Cedar Falls and Waverly-Shell Rock met in the Iowa Youth Rugby Association (IAYRA) girls’ high school 7s championship. The Tigers, which hosted the eight-team tournament last Sunday, won the 2022 and 2023 titles, but Waverly-Shell Rock got paid in 2024 and hoisted its first-ever state trophy.
